IET India office, Bangalore

The IET India office has moved location as of April 2010. The office first opened in November 2006 in Bangalore, known as the "Silicon City" of India.

The primary objective is to raise awareness of the IET and its products throughout the country.  Another important objective is to co-ordinate India's Local Networks as well as to invite many new members to actively participate in the sharing and exchange of ideas and thus create a vibrant engineering fraternity. The office functions as the initial point of contact with the IET and supports and co-ordinates IET activities and events.

The office is now located in the West Wing of the Raheja Towers in Bangalore. The new office includes a conference room, which the Local Networks can use. It will also be used for video conferencing to connect with IET offices across the globe.
